Passenger seat safe base

Now my eldest has left home we swapped the double passenger seat for a single captain's seat. The safe base is nicely made and doesn't rattle. The swivel is smooth with no free play. Good item which does exactly what we want. The only downside is that the cab mat that Kiravans sell for the single seats is not compatible with their own seat base!!

Great seat base

Fitted perfectly, same height as standard seat base whilst including a very solid stable swivel. Perfect when you don’t need a swivel on the drivers seat.
Worth noting that you need to sort out the fuse holders on the T6.1

Swivel Seat

Works very well. Easy to install and use. One thing that would improve it is some sort of attachment for the wiring looms under the passenger seat. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

Manufactured in the UK, this swivel plate is rock solid, doesn't rattle and meets all the current EC safety Directives on safety. It includes a replacement seat base with integrated safe (non-separable) and two keys are included. This swivel is manufactured lower than the original VW base so your seat ends up at the height VW originally intended.

Notes on fitting: Please note, these swivels are shipped with the handle facing backwards just because it makes for a smaller cardboard carton! When fitting, the swivel will need to be 'spun' before attaching the seat. So the safe faces rearwards, but the release-handle needs to be spun around so it is under the front of your seat.
