Good bit of kit well made and easy to
Put up, Takes up little room, be good for one nighters, rather than putting up awning

A lot of money for something that while useful, is not always easy to fit along the top of the van and comes with a bag that needs to be shorter and slightly wider.

Fits well enough but the instructions took some working out

Well made and seems robust although I've not tried it out for real yet. Once I'd worked out the fitting it fits well - just be aware that the instructions videos are for fitting to a T5 - there are some differences on the TVP vans and the pictures are not very clear.

Wish you had a tailgate door to shelter from the elements?

Me too! But in fact twin rear doors have loads of advantages. Just occasionally it would be great to have the tailgate to shelter from the rain and sun. That's why we invented the 90-second Barn Door Awning.

Compatibility

Compatible with the Ford Transit Custom 2013-2023 (with a low roof)
Please note: This awning comes with a 163cm pole. Before you order, take a minute to measure your van. We've noticed that some Transit Custom van doors might not swing open wide enough, so to check it fits, measure from your van's locking mechanism to the front latch (see the pic in the photos for reference). If the pole is too long, you can cut the pole a bit shorter to make it fit.
Kindly be aware that our barn door awnings will not fit if you are using a rear door bike rack mounted on the top of your doors.
