These Thermal Silver Screens easily affix to the inside of your camper van windows and are a great solution for maintaining warmth during cooler weather and deflecting sunlight on hot summer days.

The magnetic screens are held in place by magnets on the side windows and metal rods on the windscreen and can be put up and taken down in a few minutes. Screens are van specific for a tailored fit, so please check your van model before ordering.

Material

These thermal screens are made with a 7-layer construction for maximum insulation and durability. The outer aluminum layer reflects solar radiation to reduce heat build-up inside your vehicle, while the inner insulating layers work together to retain warmth in winter and keep interiors cooler in summer.

Independently tested in the United States, these screens achieved an R-value of 2.7. The R-value measures thermal resistance — the higher the number, the better the insulation. A score of 2.7 is considered exceptionally high for vehicle thermal screens, proving their effectiveness in all seasons.

Compatibility & Fitting

• Screens are vehicle & window specific so will only fit the model listed
• Some factory models e.g. the Caravelle have plastic mouldings around the windows, which will result in a poorer fit
  
• For front window screens you need to fold down the sun visors to help keep the top of the screens neatly in place and reduce light coming in around the edges.

Care & Maintenance

To prevent mould, always ensure your silver screens are fully dry before storing them. Like a tent, if packed away damp, they can quickly develop mould.

Once mould starts growing, it can be tough to remove. If you spot any, we advise scrubbing the affected areas with a soft brush and an anti-mould spray to help clean it off.
