Hi, guys.

This is the Kiravans VW T5 T6 Door Store, an ingenious solution to make the most of the empty cavities in your sliding door on your Volkswagen van.

Like anything in these small vans, storage is at a premium. We saw an opportunity to make use of some space and we've come up with this.

It's really well-constructed, it's a hard-textured plastic, very similar to the other plastics on the Volkswagen van. Three storage bins, very easy to pop on, shove it into the cavity and you get poppers with it, you just push those in.

So let's take a quick look at how we actually mount this into the door of your campervan conversion.

So before we get started, there's a few things you need to look out for.

Once you've taken off the original panel that was on your door, you obviously have your three cavities, you will have a wire for the lock running here, it'll probably be popped onto that, you need to un-pop it from there and just let it lie flat in there.

On a very odd occasion, we've heard of a van that has got a wire going through this hole here. If that's the case, this product may not be suitable because you won't be able to physically get the pocket into that cavity. Any other wires, as long as they're sort of stuck back towards the back of the cavity, you should be okay.

This material we've stuck on here is a sound deadening mat. It's very thin, so you can put a layer of that into the back of each cavity. And this one on the front here, on the top, and the middle cavity is our 7 mil insulation foam, it's a self-adhesive insulation. It'll fit in there, it'll fit in there, but don't put it in the bottom or you physically won't be able to fit these pockets into your door.

What else to look out for?

Best not to insulate on these raised bits, top and bottom here, because space is at a premium. Once you've prepped your door like this, if you want to, then you can go ahead, offer up the Door Store and start popping it on. So I'll just go and grab my poppers and we'll do that now.

So to get the Door Store into place, Simply slide it in like that. You'll find that the pre-drilled holes in the Door Store line up with the original holes on the van. Grab one of your poppers. Push it into the locating hole. And then simply tap it into place. Okay. Then you just continue to do that all the way around the Door Store. It's usually worth putting them in loose first, just to make sure you've got a good fit.

The ones around the outside are very straightforward. The ones in this middle row here, you do need to hold that in quite firmly before you tap them home.
