Great addition

Really easy to fit, hardest part was loosening the nuts! Adds a good bit of storage. Decent quality at a decent price

T5 Double swivel base

Easy to fit , was very stiff to start off with couldn't turn seat . I removed the seat from the base and swivelled it several times to free it up , re-fitted seat and now works . The seat does brush the handbrake and pillar as it turns but nothing that's going to cause and damage .

Useful

A very useful piece of metal, protecting the sliding seat mechanism and enabling storage under the seat. I thought that it was a little flimsy initially, but when bolted on position, it is nice and firm. A good purchase.

Genius!! Many thanks to the various customers who suggested this add-on to our range... it was a great idea, and very easy to fit.

When you're fitting your T5/T6 double seat swivel, you'll spot the swivel showing right inside the seat base, complete with a nut sticking out and a few spots where tiny things can get stuck. This kit is a slim sheet of galvanised metal that fits over the swivel to hide this, plus a neat piece of black carpet that lays over the metal for a neater finish.

The metal sheet comes with a hole in the middle, so it works great for T6.1 vans or T5/T6 vans if you've got wires that need to come through the seat base. There's also a neatly pre-cut hole in the carpet, ready to pop out if you need it for your wires, or you can just leave it be if you're fitting to a T5/T6.

Notes on Fitting

Simply install the double swivel as normal
Place the tin sheet on top, then finally fix the seat on top and bolt it down
(The tin sheet will now be sandwiched between the seat and swivel system
Finally, pop the carpet into the seat base...
Hey presto, no gaps, nowhere for things to get trapped, and (thanks to the carpet liner) fewer rattles in your van.
