When fitting out your campervan, good preparation makes all the difference. Degreaser is an essential first step for properly preparing surfaces before installation.
It’s particularly important to use before applying sound deadening, foam insulation, flooring and other self-adhesive products, as these require a clean surface to bond correctly. Proper surface preparation helps ensure adhesives stick properly and reduces the risk of edges lifting later.
Kiratek Degreaser is a versatile cleaning solution designed to remove a wide range of contaminants including oils, grease, adhesives and workshop residue. It’s ideal for tackling greasy fingerprints, adhesive spots from metalwork, road film and general spills that often occur during a van conversion.
This versatile spray can also be used for:
- Cleaning vehicle glass before bonding
- Preparing vehicle body trim before refitting
- Removing stubborn deposits such as tape residue, sticker adhesive, tar, grease and even chewing gum
It is suitable for use on many surfaces including metal, glass, plastics, wood and some fabrics.

How to Use
Spray directly onto the surface and allow it to work briefly, then wipe clean with a dry cloth.
For heavier contamination, agitate with a brush and repeat if necessary. Always finish by wiping clean and allowing the surface to dry fully before fitting or bonding materials.
For more controlled application, spray onto a cloth first and wipe the surface.
Important
Always test on a small hidden area first, particularly on painted, coated or delicate surfaces. Use in a well-ventilated area and follow the safety instructions on the label.
Do not use on silk, leather, suede, polystyrene or rubber/foam-backed carpets.
