As we get more used to the ‘new normal’ way of life, both our UK and German websites have been going from strength to strength and don’t see any signs of slowing down. It seems many people have been fast forwarding their campervan projects through the summer. So much so that we have some rather exciting news to share with you...
New Appointments
To help support the expansion of our UK Trade business along with an imminent launch into the overseas trade market, Sarah Shaw has earned a well-deserved promotion to Trade Account Manager effective 1st September. Sarah already has loads of experience in customer service, solving problems, and being super helpful, along with a year and a half experience with Kiravans, so Sarah’s raring to go with lots of ideas and super excited for the new challenge :)
We got a bit caught out by the sudden increase in business these past few months, and found it incredibly difficult to keep up with the number of enquiries coming in to our customer service team. Apologies to all of you who we kept waiting. I know it was very frustrating and I can only thank you all for your patience.
So, we’re currently recruiting three more customer service stars who will join us in our Keighley office and will become an integral part of our dedicated team. As a customer support specialist, we are looking for individuals with personality, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude to maintain our high standard of customer service. I strongly believe that customer service is an attitude...not just a robotic department, so finding the right people is critical.
If all goes to plan then the new folks will be in place by the end of September to give us plenty of training time before the Spring season comes around again.
Kiravans European Expansion
Our German retail website got a new facelift recently and has been changed over to the ‘oh so wonderful’ Shopify platform to mirror the UK website :) As well as adopting a totally new look to mirror our flagship UK site, we completely rethought the structure of the site to make things easier to find. Additionally, the site is now compatible with the latest tablets and smartphones to allow you to keep in touch while on the move. It has already exceeded our expectations and our German customer’s seem delighted with the relaunch.
We will shortly be launching our European trade website...just a few final tweaks and this will be ready to go very soon.
And last but not least, we have just launched our all singing all dancing French retail website! Très excitant...ç'est bon!
There’s a lot happening at Kiravans, and I know there’s always a risk of trying to do too much at the same time, but I think we’ve got it just about right. Our mission to help you build your dream campervan remains unchanged, it’s still at the very heart of our business - only now we’ll be able to do it in French & German too :-)
We’re here to keep things honest and simple by offering quality, value for money, campervan products, and the very best supportive advice and services you would expect. I really hope that we are making it easier, and giving you the confidence to build your dream campervan conversion. The feedback we receive so often from our fantastic customers is that we are achieving this day in day out :)
