These kits are of good quality and fit for purpose.
What I would say is bending the rail is tricky and the amount of curvature is limited. I inserted a spare curtain 'hook' and just bent and tested and bent and tested until it went tight and then I stopped.
My other hint is that I only used a 2mm drill bit and the screws gripped very well. I think that they may well have been easy to over tighten and round off had I used a 2.5mm as suggested. Of course I don't know that but I'd suggest playing safe and use a 2mm.

Super solution for my purpose

Needed to prevent my small dogs from jumping onto my raised bed at the back of the van, so improvised with these curtains (so not entirely for the purpose which they’re intended) and they work a treat. Distance between the top of the wooden bed base and the bed (cabin) ceiling was 82cm’s, ideal for this stretchy material. To be fair, one curtain would be sufficient to cover the gap (width), but looks more the part with both sides hung. Easy to fit. Really pleased. Plus I've now got an even darker sleeping area for a better night's sleep. Also liked the fact you get a few spares, plus individual spare parts available if needed.

Great piece of kit

Arrived promptly and was nice and easy to fit. I was pleased that the rails were nice and easy to bend to the contours or my windows.

If our van-specific curtain kits with pre-bent rails are not appropriate for your van, then these universal curtains with straight rails may work better for you. Simply measure your windows to see which are most appropriate.

Kiravans Premium Blackout campervan curtains are double-lined and ensure exceptional thermal insulation and a darker window covering than standard curtains. (Total blackout cannot be achieved with a stretch fabric, so strong sunlight is still slightly visible). They have a black finish on one side and grey on the opposite. Curtain fabric is stretchy with a fairly dense weave, giving very good light blocking and excellent thermal properties. The stretch feature of these curtains allows up to 20% extra drop. The aluminum rails with these kits are robust and have an attractive beveled edge for a professional finish in your campervan.
