Campervan cooking at its best!

Spring is finally here and Summer is just around the corner, so there’s no better time to get your campervan cooking gear sorted!

Your campervan conversion may already have a great hob or oven installed, but you really can’t beat preparing and cooking meals in the great outdoors. Why is it that everything tastes so much better when cooked and eaten outside?  Perhaps it’s because the cooking process is simplified and we enjoy food for food’s sake, and that combined with the relaxing and soothing benefits of fresh air can make it taste even better.

It’s also great from a social perspective... with your family and friends around you and a few beers or a bottle of wine to hand.. such great times and memories :)

There’s no doubt about it… cooking when camping can take a little bit of planning and innovation if you want to rustle up a great variety of meals whilst you’re away, but it can also be very rewarding and simple too.  It doesn’t have to be all about tins of beans and pot noodles but whatever you decide, it’s most important for you to have fun and enjoy the time you spend in your campervan.

There are all sorts of different BBQs out there to choose from. From large swanky gas BBQs to compact camping BBQs.  These days, there are some small but mighty camping BBQs that have all the features and benefits you could ever wish for.

This great BBQ really does give you the freedom to create some fantastic meals if you fancy yourself as a bit of an ‘outdoor-chef’ and fancy putting your culinary skills to the test.  The enamelled fat pan also makes for easier cleaning which is a bonus whilst you are away on holiday, as well as being a great safety feature to help prevent dangerous grease fires! The pot the lid acts as an efficient windbreak as well as helping to keep food warm and the Piezo ignition means there’s no need for a lighter.

Because it’s compact, it’s really easy to set up and fold down again, and fits into a great storage bag too...designed to be mobile and not eat into much storage space too, it’s a real winner!
