High temp adhesive for roof lining

Used this to help replace roof lining on pop top T5. 1st to glue carpet to ply panels and then to glue velcro strips to the panels and the roof before pushing together - all good so far!

High temp adhesive

Great product, easy to apply, forms a great bond with 4 way stretch and panels. Really can’t fault it.

My Carpet, sound proofing and door store was just what I was expecting and delivered on time , good service all round.

Description

Particularly suited for bonding fabrics and lining such as carpet, foam and headlining to each other or to other materials like wood, metal, plastic or rubber.

It exhibits high temperature resistance up to 90 degrees and is extremely flexible. High temperature adhesive is often used when refurbishing the interiors of coaches, caravans, leisure homes, boats and other similar vehicles, so it's perfect for your campervan conversion.

If you are using this for carpet lining your campervan, the best formula we have found is to work on 1 can per metre length of carpet. As a rough guide 10 cans is enough to fix the lining carpet to an entire small campervan.

Important

  • Do not use on flexible (plasticised) PVC
  • As this is an adhesive aerosol we are not allowed to ship outside of mainland UK. So we can not deliver to Channel Islands / Ireland etc.
  • The maximum volume we can send out per day to a single address is 12 cans. So if you order more than 12 they will be dispatched on separate days for you.

Fitting

The surface to be bonded must be clean, dry and contaminant free. Adjust the nozzle to give the required spray pattern and from a distance of approximately 25cm (10 inches), spray one surface horizontally and the other vertically each to a minimum coverage of 80%. Allow the adhesive to become a touch dry. Press items firmly together from the centre working outwards to achieve a good contact and exclude any air bubbles.
