The MPP 350 Duo Dig Solar charger is a solar controller for a dual battery system enabling charging for both the leisure and starter battery. An essential component for solar charging systems which provides protection from overcharging your battery and protects your panel from reverse current flow.
Votronic solar controllers in the MPP series (Maximum Power Point) are a higher quality system than used in most cheaper solar regulators. These controllers automatically calculate the maximum power yield of the solar panels every few seconds and transform the voltage surplus into higher charging currents for your leisure battery. The net result is shorter charging times and the best possible power yield from your solar panels.
- The additional power output is particularly useful in lower light level environments (eg the UK in winter !!)
- Dual output channels allow for main leisure battery charging AND trickle charge top-up to your car battery.
